Maria Swanson is from Mapleton, Iowa and is currently attending the University of South Dakota. She is a marketing major with a social media marketing minor. Maria danced for 15 years at her studio and was heavily involved in her high school dance team. She was the captain for 3 years and choreographed all their competitive pieces. She was involved in 6 styles of dance, but Tap and Clog always remained her favorite. She helped teach at her dance studio throughout high school and found her love in teaching through that. Maria is excited to get to know her dancers and help them express themselves through dance.
